Thailand, Bangkok~Pattaya 2013

Day 1

Early in the morning around 4am I woke up and get prepared. The taxi came at 6am and we reach the airport by 7am. That is my second time 'leaving the country' vacation! We have to wait until 9am before depart from KLIA.

In the plane, I was provided with breakfast choice of Nasi Lemak or Roti Canai ( that's one very expensive breakfast on flight).

I ate Nasi Lemak,because in M'sia, Roti Canai is cheaper..not worth on plane

We arrived at Suvarnabhumi, Thailand airport at 11am and the weather was nice and windy =D.

First thing we get on the bus, the Thailand tour guide gave his name Mr.Lu, he first brought us
to a 'zoo restaurant'....some sort of restaurant in the safari world but the food is not so nice...its buffet served though. After the lunch, we went the water park of that 'zoo' and see some dolphin performance. after spending some time in the zoo seeing other animals...animals.....we had a long trip back into the town to have dinner at a seafood restaurant. (I know it felt weird just to go one place and then dinner again but that was a long bus trip u know...about 2-3 hours).

After dinner, we went to Asiatique ( a popular boulevard/ market type place like a bigger version of Setia Walk in Puchong). Bought some souvenirs fro friends and had a drink there before going back to the hotel, Astera Sathorn Hotel, Bangkok.

 Day 2
The morning call is at 6 am and the breakfast also served at 6 am, so my sisters and I decided to wake up at 5 am and get prepared.

I ate 2 of these fried eggs every morning

The coffee is ok but the orange cordial taste weird

I ate bread...just to play with this toast machine XD

After breakfast, we went to the train market...or whatever it was called ( the peoples illegally have stall just beside the railway and they have to close their stall to allow the train to pass by). Have to bring together our luggage because we are going to stay in Pattaya that night. The market area was flooded because of river water on the previous night. luckily I wore slipper on that day and walk LIKE A BOSS XD

Supposely got picture for the Floating Market but I dunno where I put the picture, but that is a shopping haven so not much scenery. After lunch, It was a 3 hour journey from Bangkok to Pattaya. We went to the Sri Racha Tiger Zoo (Sri Racha is a place name...a town like that)...(and...and its name is tiger zoo but inside have many other type animal...dun ask me why)

The zoo is just outskirt of Pattaya, its another 30 minutes bus travel to the town of Pattaya. I was almost 6 pm there and we had dinner at a quite retro restaurant ( I do mean old looking buildings)...but the food wad superb! They even served Tempura prawns and fried chicken that was nicer than KFC! After dinner already very tired but still cannot check in to the hotel...went to a place called Paradise Art Studio with alot of nice 3D arts la...Malaysia also got...just show you all some of it

Thought that finally can check into hotel...Golden Beach Hotel is beyond your imagination...the review was good but quite disappointing at the first look...Full bar wifi but cannot connect, big-butt plasma tv and not so functionable water heater...Because too frustrated so did not took picture of the room...

Day 3
It was a bad start for a morning...lost the room key because previous night came down to lobby with sis to online, but when re-entering room forget to take out the key from the keyhole.(because the room electricity is not access with a card and rooms are opened with keys...) sigh...simply had breakfast and rush for a speedboat ride for some water activities.

First stop is at a small port (there a few on the sea) for some parachute flying. 400baht for one person...I think that's quite affordable for an experience XD

After that we get back on the speedboat and went to a beach...(I dun quite remember what is the name of the beach...and enjoy some seawater!)

After about 2 hours (10.30am) at the beach, we went back to the hotel to clean up ourselves, take our lunch and get ready for some sightseing. Not sure why but some sort of miracle happened to make me happy...The receptionist found my room key and eventually the wifi was working well in the morning! So the mood is okay abit ^_^
After settle everything, we went to the Gemz Gallery ( shopping place...expensive jewellery) not allow to take photo is really unpleasant but they have free first drinks at their cafe...My sister and I had a cup of beer because that's the most expensive drink...LOL

After jewellery then we went to a bee farm...The worker there show us all the things about bees, honey, and ya...all the things la...Even ask me to demonstrate the use of propolis...say its good for skin and pimples...URGH...!

Next up is a place I dunno why they name it Mimosa 'The City of Love' but in Chinese it says 东方人妖城 which means Eastern cough* Town (I dunno how to say it in English)....literally..u know..sounds awkward*....We didn't stay there for long...YA! because Rayson is hungry and need his dinner...mwahahaha!

You know what's next....of course is dinner...! The dinner is not good for me...because I chose the nice-looking pork dish...which turn out to be real hot and spicy and I end up eating that dish with rice and water....We did not change hotel that night so we go back there. The night is still young so my family decided to walk around the busy area near the hotel. Many hawker stalls, souvenir shops, shopping malls and the beach is just few minutes from the hotel!

Some other trip member paid for another alternative 'transgender people show' (seriously I felt weird saying this in English)...800 baht to see those show seriously...see pretty girls also no need so expensive...I don't think it worth lo....

 Day 4
 Today morning also woke up earlier because nothing went wrong and I can take my time have my sweet delicious breakfast...(the day b4 screw up the breakfast because of the lost key)...After breakfast have to take luggage down because we are going back to Bangkok tonight...First place on day 4 will be the Giant Buddha Statue...(not sure if its a statue because it doesn't look like one...more like a picture of Buddha on the mountain)

 Its still early in the morning...around 9am only so we went to the Silverlake Grape Farm (notice that Silverlake is written in capital so its not actually a silver lake...its just a name...SPOIL IT) haha...Its very similar to Cameron Highland in Malaysia...(or its Cameron that look like that place??)

After this grape farm we went to a place where they sell alot of local tibbits and snacks...but those really expensive, some even can be seen in Malaysia with cheaper price...(confused)...But here got sell pork one la...Malaysia where have....did not take much picture also because the place very hot and I'm exhausted...

Day 4 trip is actually going back to Bangkok and these place are along the way only...closer to Bangkok is the Herbal Product Company/ Herbs Production Company...(I dun care how they call it...its just a more high class place selling Chinese medicine in a more western way (bottles and capsules)...
 The for lunch, we went to one of the most special place ever...its Tesco Lotus Extra....Its actually quite similar with the Tesco in Malaysia but the inside got more restaurant and shops...They have a green theme unlike Malaysia Tesco blue theme...

Its almost evening when we are back at Bangkok...this time, we get 2nd floor room which is beside the swimming pool and gym...(no chance to go either one also because parents say come Thailand not for gym nor swimming in a pool...sigh)...

After rest for awhile, we board a free boat to cross the river...(not exactly crossing, just move along the river to another place...still the same side also) Still remember the place called Asiatique I went on first night?...ya the time we have there for that night is quite short...this place is as big as a football field okay...so we come again and shop! Other tour member also come here and some went to Robinsons opposite the hotel. (my parents say will go Robinsons on the last day morning)

Dinner at a Japanese restaurant

 Bought all of my friends souvenirs and a t-shirt for myself. Back to hotel around 10pm already so stay in the room and watch tv...Thailand tv got more than 90 channels...got Animax!!

Day 5
Last day, went to Robinsons but that place is abit different...its not as spacious with a few restaurant only...Lunch at a Chinese food stall, the boss if i'm not mistaken is a Malaysian selling fishball noodle..haha

 Around 12pm go back hotel pack our luggage and check out. The trip to the airport is about 1 hour....closed my eye for awhile then reach already...However the flight was supposed on 5pm delayed until 5.40pm only fly...Reached Malaysia at 7.30pm and its raining...

Even though it was just a 5day4night trip...I'm grateful enough to go vacation with my family...hope there will be another trip end of 2014...I think thats all for this post....I think this is the second longest post...Coming up later is the End of the Year post..stay tuned!
